      The FLOWMEET's WF series water flowmeters are particularly robust meters that operate reliably in the most difficult conditions. They are designed to handle high flow rates, and are particularly suitable for industrial applications such as hydraulic works, water distribution, water monitoring and in agricultural systems. It is a flowmeter that encompasses three particularities that distinguish it from the rest of the water flowmeters, being economical, robust and with a very good accuracy. The propeller rotation transmission is protected by the direct magnetic drive that ensures that the indicator is sealed against water.

        Maximum permissible errors

      • From the minimum flow rate (Q1) included to the transition flow rate (Q2) exclusive ± 5%.

      • From transition flow (Q2) to overload flow (Q4): ± 2%;

      Operation of turbine flowmeters

      Woltman meters measure the speed of water flowing through a turbine. The volume is calculated mechanically, knowing the area of ​​the section. The unique shape of the "paddle wheels" allows Woltman meters to cover a very large measuring range with an especially low pressure drop. They also start to measure reliably with small flow rates of water. In horizontal axis Woltman meters, the turbine axis is arranged parallel to the pipe axis. The rotation of the turbine is transmitted through an endless screw to a dry dial counter. Very robust construction, little head loss. The input and output bearings are specially designed to withstand natural hydraulic thrust.
